Injection Molding Plant - Injection Mold Opening Steps

At the beginning, the molding customer needs to provide the 3D drawings (STP format) of the product, 2D drawings, or product samples to the injection mold processing plant, and explain the technical requirements for molding to the processing plant, such as whether there are requirements for steel, number of cavities, etc.

The injection mold processing factory accepts the mold opening task and evaluates the customer's product drawings (by analyzing the material properties and feasibility of the product, such as wall thickness, deformation, and injection position, to pre determine potential problems) and designs injection mold drawings.

The customer confirms the mold drawings and begins the mold manufacturing process (the mechanical processing of the mold includes CNC processing, EDM processing, wire cutting processing, deep hole drilling processing, etc.)

After the mold manufacturing is completed, in order to check the condition of the mold and whether the rubber structure is in good condition, it is necessary to go to an injection molding machine for mold testing. By testing the mold, we can understand the situation that occurs during the beer making process and whether the rubber structure is in good condition. And provide the first sample to the customer for confirmation.

The customer confirms that the product is qualified and places an order for injection molding processing. If there are any areas that need improvement, we will communicate with various departments of the project on site to solve the problems.

At this point, the opening steps of the injection mold are roughly completed.
